Ephemera relating to the development of the atomic bomb and the McCarthy Red Scare. Includes resolutions against further development of atomic energy by such groups as the American Physical Society, the Atomic Scientists of Chicago, and the Independent Citizens Committee of the Arts, Sciences, and the Professions. Also included in the collection are reprints of publications by Arthur Holly Compton and a transcript of Langsdorf's security hearing before the Atomic Energy Commission in 1956.
